Susan Jeanetti Camilini

Susan Jeanetti Camilini, 93, entered into eternal rest on October 17, 2013, at Shady Knoll Health Care Center in Seymour. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenic Camilini Sr.

Mrs. Camilini was born in Santa Maria De Capua, Italy, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Assunta Palmieri Jeanetti. Susan enjoyed doing volunteer work at Griffin Hospital especially selling raffle tickets. She was also a Cub Scout Den Mother in her earlier years and enjoyed marching in the Derby-Shelton Memorial Day parade.

She leaves her loving and devoted family, son, Domenic Camilini Jr. and his wife Josephine of Seymour, daughter, Patricia Camilini and her companion James Miller of Oxford, granddaughters, Lisa Spataj (fiancée Gino Pereira) of Oxford, Laura DeLisio (Brian) of Mesa, AZ, Rita Miller (James) of Wallingford, five great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Hannah Spataj of Oxford, Christina and James Miller of Wallingford and Domenic DeLisio of AZ and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers, Pasquale, Antonio, Joseph and Domenick Jeanetti and sisters, Caroline Frumento, Eleanor Vukadinovich and Grace Macero.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2013, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:30 am, her funeral will process to Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
