Susan M. Rowland, age 71, of Shelton, peacefully entered into rest on Sunday, November 18, 2012, in her home. She is the devoted wife of Clifford E. Rowland.
Susan was born in Stamford on January 21, 1941, daughter of the late Howard and Jessie (Clark) Smith. She served her country with the Unites States Marine Corps, and went on to work in civil service for several different branches of the Armed Forces for over 25 years. She then worked as the school bus manager for the Blake Bus Company in Ansonia.
In addition to her beloved husband, she leaves a sister, Lynn Mashia. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph McNamara, and Robert Balstad.
