We are sad to announce the passing of Susanne Carol (Wilkinson) Pease of Derby, CT. She died at age 83 on December 26, 2023. Susanne passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a prolonged illness.
She was born in Derby, CT on May 11, 1940 to the late Henry Wilkinson and Janet (Scaife) Wilkinson. Susanne was a devoted mother and grandmother. She looked forward to spending time with her family and loved visiting with them. Susanne looked after her many neighbors that she counted as friends. She looked forward to her yearly adventures with her siblings. Nothing made her happier than family.
Susanne loved chocolate, Boston Cream donuts, and Filet O’ Fish sandwiches, as well as puzzles. Susanne was the beloved wife of the late Freemont Pease, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Amy Baktis, her son Allen Pease and his wife Kellie, son-in-law Raymond Toothill, daughter-in-law Kimberly Tucker, grandchildren Thomas Toothill, Lisa Toothill, Lori Ann Toothill, Jeffrey Tucker, Jeremy Tucker, Silas Tucker, Jennifer Lynch, Jessica Toothill, Brian Baktis, Jr., Kyle Baktis, Kayleigh Pease, Alec Pease, and Aidan Pease, several great-grandchildren, siblings Sarah (Sally) Roberts, Sharon Tucker, Janet Worobel, Alice Devoid, Alfred Rollinson, James Rollinson, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughter Lorraine Toothill, son Howard Tucker III, stepsons Ronald Pease and Robert Pease Sr., and sister Shirley Hayden.
Friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby. Her funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Oak Cliff Cemetery in Derby.
