Thaddeus Roslon

Thaddeus Roslon, age 88, entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2021 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna Gamdzyk Roslon. 

Thaddeus was born in Budki, Poland, on August 12, 1932, son of the late Stanley and Eleanora Tofel Roslon. He emigrated to the United States in 1959 and was a resident of Derby since 1970. Thaddeus served in the Polish Army during WW 2 as a Teletype/Telegraph technician. He was later employed as a tool maker at A.H. Nilson Machine Company in Shelton. Following his retirement, Thaddeus worked part time at Mercury Tool in Milford. He was a veracious reader and always kept current on events in the United States as well as in Poland. 

He leaves to cherish his memory sons, Mark V. Roslon of Derby and Adam Roslon of New Haven, and a sister, Stasia Rzap of Poland. He was predeceased by a son Christopher Roslon, a sister, Irene Nachtygal and a grandson, Christopher Andrew Roslon. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 32 Jewett Street in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment will immediately follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements.
