Theodore N. DiDonato, age 69, entered eternal rest on January 7, 2025, at Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus.
He was the loving companion of Beverly Sirgiannis of Derby. Born in Derby on May 25, 1955, he was the son of Helene Quinn DiDonato of Ansonia and the late Theodore N. “Bud” DiDonato.
Theodore was a lifelong resident of Ansonia and employed as an HVAC technician for his family business Hillcrest Fuel. With a true passion for cooking, he was famous for his delicious tomato sauce and enjoyed eating steak and lobster as his favorite dinner choices.
He meticulously tended to his plants and vegetable garden. Theodore liked to travel especially to his favorite places, Cape Cod, Arizona, and Mount Washington, he was particularly fond of the mountains. He was very artistic and always made a point to cheer on his favorite football team the New York Giants.
In addition to his companion Beverly and mother Helene, Theodore leaves to cherish his memory, a loving daughter, Julia D. Mino and son-in-law, John Mino of Milford and a brother, Matthew DiDonato (Carole) of Orange.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 9:00 – 11:00 am in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HIOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
