Theresa Ann DiCamillo, age 92, formerly of Derby, CT entered into rest on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the LiveWell center in Plantsville, CT.
She was the devoted wife to the love of her life the late Joseph DiCamillo.
Theresa was born in Bridgeport on August 22, 1927, daughter of the late Raney and Agnes (Santilli) D’Ortenzio. She was the devoted and loving mother of Ronald DiCamillo and his wife Kimberly and Edward DiCamillo and his wife Dottie and loving grandmother of Kayla Jarrin and her husband Chiristopher and Ryan DiCamillo and great grandmother of Lucas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Theresa was predeceased by a brother Alfredo D’Ortenzio and a sister May (D’Ortenzio) Sancibrian. She was a graduate of Harding High School in Bridgeport, assisted her family in running the DiCamillo grocery store, was a past president for the St Mary’s Mothers Club and a local chainman for the March of Dimes.
Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am for her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Jude Church in Derby. Her entombment will follow at Mt. St. Peter Garden Mausoleum.
