Theresa E. Elinskas, age 77, of Shelton entered into rest on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Hartford Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Bridgeport on September 19, 1946 daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Socash) Griskonis and was a Shelton resident for most of her life.
Theresa was a registered nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospital for many years until her retirement in 2016. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed taking bus trips.
Theresa was the beloved mother of Terri Ann Valentine, Lawrence James Elinskas and his wife Sarah and Diane Elinkas and sister of Joseph Griskonis. She was the loving grandmother of Jeffrey, Jonathan and Jessica Valentine and Michael and Sally Elinskas and also survived several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3:00 to 5:45 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd, Shelton. Her funeral service will follow at 5:45 PM at the parlor.
