Theresa M. Early, age 89, formerly of Shelton, entered into rest on January 13, 2018 in Forrest General Hospital Hattiesburg, MS. She was the devoted wife of the late John J. Early, Sr.
She was born in Bridgeport, CT on August 5, 1928, daughter of the late John and Marciana Syc and was a resident of Shelton for most of her life before moving to Mississippi 20 years ago.
Theresa was an Assembler at Avco Lycoming for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed making ceramics, cooking delicious meals, and going on trips to the casino. Most of all, Theresa was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving children Mary Ann Millea and her husband Edward (FL), Kathleen Frolish and her husband Joseph (CT), John (Jack) Early, Jr. and his wife Cindy (CT), Dennis Early (MS) and Doreen Early (MS), two sisters Lillian Brown (CT) and Sophie Steiz (AZ), grandchildren Edward, Sean & Jeffrey Millea, Nicole Mather & Ryan Walkinshaw, Justin & Chrystal Early and 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson John (Jackie) Early III and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call on Wednesday January 24, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Thursday January 25, 2018 at 9:15 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, Shelton. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
