Theresa Wisneski, age 89, of Derby entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Center in Trumbull.
She was the devoted wife of the late Henry Wisneski for 63 years. Theresa was born in Derby on October 6, 1932, daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (Jachyra) Pysz.
A lifelong Derby resident, she was employed by HMP Industries for over 20 years until her retirement. Theresa enjoyed all kinds of music, loved to dance and spend time outdoors. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.
Theresa is survived by her daughter Diane Halligan and her fiancé Scott Hudson of Derby, a son, Gary Wisneski of New Haven, grand daughters Kori Sims-Pelletier of Florida, and Kari Ballaro of Seymour, 3 great-grand children: Sammy, Mia and Amber. She is also survived by a sister, Helen Bosik of Shelton, and a brother Peter Pisz of Kentucky. Theresa was predeceased by 6 brothers.
On Thursday, friends and family are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial at 1PM at St. Jude’s Church, 71 Pleasant View Rd., Derby. Her entombment will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. The family requests that masks be worn.
