Thomas J. Wojciechowski, age 66, peacefully entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2018, at CT Hospice, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Kennedy Wojciechowski.
Tom was born in Derby on June 24, 1952, son of Cecilia Burch Wojciechowski of Ansonia and the late Benjamin Wojciechowski. A lifelong resident of the Ansonia community, he was a self-employed courier. Tom enjoyed cooking and was an avid crossword puzzle and classic car enthusiast. He was a fan of the NY Yankees and a former member of Webster Hose Co. #3 of Ansonia. Tom was a loyal friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W. for thirteen years.
In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Melissa Lawruszko (Joseph) of Seymour and Anna Hustek (Peter Jr.) of Ansonia, a brother, Paul W. Wojciechowski (Lida) of Ansonia, a sister, Joan Iaccarino of Wallingford, cherished grandchildren, Zachary and Ava Lawruszko and Elizabeth Hustek and Peter Hustek III and several nieces and nephews. The family sends a special thanks to the caregivers at CT Hospice and also Jadwiga Powe of Shelton.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday August 14, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Wednesday, relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11:00 am (DIRECTLY) at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
