Thomas John Fritz, age 66, of Ansonia, entered into rest on Sunday April 19, 2015 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He is the devoted husband of Norma Stember Fritz.
Tom was born in Derby on April 28, 1948 loving son of Henrietta (Rachuba) Fritz, and the late Stanley Fritz, and has been a life long Valley resident. He was a contractor and partner with his brother at T & R Builders for over 20 years.
He is the beloved father of Tammy Deland and her husband Matthew, and Jessica Fritz-Welch and her husband Matt. He is the loving brother of Robert Fritz, and cherished grandfather of Emma and Violet Deland. He is the stepfather of Carina, Marcos, and Carlos Reinoso Stember, and stepgrandfather of Hldana and Camila Quirogn, and also leaves behind his loyal dogs Tulip, and Jagger.
Friends may greet his family on Wednesday from 8:00 to 11:00 AM in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth Street Derby. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:15 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in St. Michael Church Derby. Burial will follow in Mt.St. Peter Cemetery Derby.
