Thomas O’Donnell, age 59, of Shelton suddenly passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 in Venice, Florida. He was the devoted husband of Autumn Rae (Wankowicz) O’Donnell.
Tom was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on January 28, 1963 son of William O’Donnell and the late Margaret (Marggraf) O’Donnell and was a Shelton resident for over 25 years. He was the owner and operator of Celtic Appraisal Company, LLC for over 20 years. Tom loved communing with nature on daily walks in the woods or on the beach with his dog(s). He was a huge animal lover, fan of Boston sports teams, loved to travel, was always up for an adventure and would never hesitate to go out of his way to grab a box of Tripoli Pizza or Jasmine’s Roast Beef in Hampton Beach, NH. Tom was very proud to have never smoked a cigarette or tried a cup of coffee in his life. On a sunny day, you might see him cruising around on his orange Triumph Bonneville. He passionately loved music and live shows, especially reggae and Bob Marley. “Boston Tom” was a friend of Bill W. and set to celebrate his 9th year of sobriety. He was always willing to offer an outstretched hand or words of wisdom to anyone in need. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.
Tom was the beloved father of Ryan William O’Donnell and his wife Mercedes and Matthew Thomas O’Donnell, loving grandfather of Violet Isabelle O’Donnell and brother of Michael O’Donnell, Paul O’Donnell and Billy O’Donnell. He was also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
