Veronica L. (Rossetti) Tarini, age 80, peacefully entered eternal rest on June 5, 2023, in the comfort of her home, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of sixty years to Eugene M. Tarini.
Veronica was born in Derby on July 11, 1942, daughter of the late Andrew and Theresa Kobziak Rossetti. A lifelong resident of Derby, Veronica was devoted to the care and well-being of her family. She selflessly volunteered her time at St. Mary/St. Michael School in Derby and enjoyed crocheting.
In addition to her husband Eugene, Veronica leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Brian R. Tarini (Patricia) of Derby and Timothy R. Tarini (Laura) of Shelton, five grandchildren, Joshua Tarini (Kelly) of Baltimore, MD, Rachel Coffman (John) of Seymour, Katelyn Tarini of Coventry, Emily Tarini of Shelton and Matthew Tarini of Albany, NY, two great-grandchildren, Lucas Tarini and Maisie Coffman, sisters-in-law, Joanne Rossetti of Hamden and Diana Rossetti of Ansonia, brother-in-law, Ronald Tarini of Ansonia, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Ralph and Richard Rossetti. The Tarini family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to special care giver Evelyn Conroy, along with the nurses and aides at Accent Home Care for their kindness and compassion.
Relatives and friends may greet the family and pay their respects on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street, Ansonia. On Monday June 12, 2023, her funeral will begin from the funeral home at 9:15 am and proceed to St. Michael’s Church in Derby for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
