Veronica R. Zuklie, age 94, of Shelton, entered into rest on Saturday April 18, 2015 in the home of her son.
She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Zuklie.
Veronica was born in Jessup, PA on March 22, 1921, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Luchansky) Pitonak,and lived 35 years in Stratford working for Dupont Remington Arms transferring to their Little Rock, AR plant where she worked and retired before moving to Shelton in 1996 after the death of her husband.
She is survived by her two loving sons Robert and wife Judy, and Ronald and wife Irene. She also leaves 4 cherished grandson’s Mitchell, Mark, David and Brandon, and 10 adoring great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister Rosemarie Skurja, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services were held on April 22, 2015 with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Lawrence Church and burial in St. John’s Cemetery Stratford.
The Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton was entrusted with her arrangements.
