Veronica “Roni” Regan, age 65, entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2019, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Regan Sr.
Roni was born in Greenwich, CT on February 1, 1954, daughter of the late Ronald and Bridgette Molloy McAllister. A resident of Derby since 1979, she was employed as a bar tender at several area restaurants, most notably, the former Old Birmingham Restaurant and River Restaurant in Derby and lastly at the Italian Pavilion in Derby. She enjoyed watching old movies.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Michael J. Regan Jr. (Laura) of Naugatuck, a daughter, Kelly A. Regan of Oxford, a brother, Patrick McAllister of Norwalk, cherished grandchildren, Thomas J. Regan, James M. Regan and Theodore Archer Zybort and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, John and Peter McAllister and sisters, Margaret Marshall, Marjorie Merritt and Mary Catherine McAllister.
On Saturday, February 23, 2019, friends and relatives are invited to a memorial gathering to celebrate Roni’s life from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
