Victoria A. (Lembo) DeJoseph, 90, entered into eternal rest on December 8, 2016, at Griffin Hospital.
Mrs. DeJoseph was born in Derby on May 1, 1926, daughter of the late Louis and Carrie Spargo Lembo. Victoria graduated from Ansonia High School in 1943 and St. Vincent’s School of Nursing in 1946. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Bridgeport Hospital, until her retirement. Victoria enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by a loving and devoted son, Charles L. DeJoseph of Seymour, cherished grandsons, Justin DeJoseph (Kelly) of Bristol and Anthony P. DeJoseph III of Wolcott, great-granddaughter, Olivia DeJoseph of Bristol, sister, Marion Hylwa (Donald) of Brewster, MA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Anthony P. DeJoseph Jr. and her former husband, Anthony P. DeJoseph Sr.
Visiting will take place on Tuesday morning December 13, 2016, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:00 am, her funeral will process to St. Mary’s Church in Derby for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Mausoleum in Derby.
