Victoria A. Osowiecki, 93, peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2016, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Osowiecki.
Mrs. Osowiecki was born in Ansonia on May 14, 1922, daughter of the late Ignace Stanul and Victoria Kostrewski Froliger. A lifelong resident of the Ansonia community, she was devoted to the care of her family.
She is survived by a loving son, Stanley P. Osowiecki and his wife Kathleen of Beacon Falls, a grandson, Stanley T. Osowiecki (Marybeth) of Orange, a granddaughter, Kristen Miller of Beacon Falls and great-grandchildren, Jake Miller and Sabrina Osowiecki. She was predeceased by a sister, Stella Colwell.
Per Victoria’s request, her funeral service will be private. Burial will take place alongside her husband in St. Michael Cemetery in Derby. There will be no visiting hours. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements.
