Vincent Bartlett, an 83 year old resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest at Split Rock Senior Living in Shelton on August 29.
He was born Sept. 7, 1932 in Derby, son of the late Jerry & Frances Bartlett.
Vincent worked as a machinist for Sikorsky Aircraft until retirement. He always looked forward to and began his mornings with a group of guys, “The Breakfast Club” at McDonald’s in Derby. He was an avid baseball fan and history buff, and enjoyed his discussions with them.
He leaves his son James V. Bartlett of Missouri, his brother James Bartlett of Northport, Maine and his sister Joan Wilson of Derby, as well as several grandchildren & great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Susan Blamey & sister Penny Clements.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, Sept. 25 at 4:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. before the service. Interment will be private in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery.
