Vincent D. Casey III, age 43, peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 8, 2018, at Griffin Hospital, with his loving family by his side.
Vin was born in Bridgeport on March 19, 1974, beloved son of Vincent D. Casey Jr. and Margaret Chasse Casey of Ansonia. A resident of Ansonia for most of his life, he was employed as a parts manager/mechanic at Advance Auto Parts in Derby for many years. Previously, he worked at Oxford Insurance in Trumbull. Vin enjoyed restoring classic cars, fixing and riding motorcycles and listening to rock music, especially 1980’s metal bands.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by a caring brother, Scott A. Casey of Seymour and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday March 14, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. His funeral will be held on Thursday March 15, 2018, at 10:00 am, with family and friends asked to meet directly at the Church of the Assumption, 61 North Cliff Street in Ansonia for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment will immediately follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Mausoleum in Derby.
