Vincent F. Garofalo Jr., a 63 year old Oxford resident and husband to Carolyn Damon Garofalo, entered into eternal rest July 8.
He was born April 2, 1958 in Derby, and graduated from Derby High School, Class of ’76.
He worked as a custodian for The Bradley School in Derby and was an active member of The A.M. & Lafayette clubs in Derby.
In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory his father Vincent F. Garofalo Sr. of Derby, his step daughter Nicole Jones of Oxford, step son Bryan Gras (Kristen) of Higganum, CT., his three brothers David Garofalo of Illinois, Roy Garofalo (Jen) of Derby & James Garofalo (Dawn) of Trenton, Tennessee, two sisters Francie Mengold (Paul) of Ansonia & Kim Angeletti (Mark) of Wisconsin, his grandchildren Tyler, Evan & Chloe Gras, and his fur buddy Maxx Doolittle.
He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention. Vincent was predeceased by his step son Matthew Gras and step mother Linda Garofalo.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 14 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
