Vincenza Laudiero Nocerino, age 87, entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2018, at Griffin Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Gennaro Nocerino, who recently passed away on November 26, 2017.
Mrs. Nocerino was born in Naples, Italy on December 24, 1930, daughter of the late Francesco and Mariana Pannone Laudiero. A resident of Ansonia since 1974, she was employed at Griffin Hospital in Environmental Services until her retirement. She enjoyed being surrounded by her loving family, cooking, entertaining and playing games with her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory, loving daughters, Nancy Zanfardino (Jack) of Seymour, Anna McDonald of Ansonia, Maria Durante (Richard Frakes) of Las Vegas, NV and Rita Mirmina (Mark) of Bethany, a brother, Vincenzo Laudiero of Naples, Italy, eleven cherished grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Domenica Manco, Rosa DiVietro, Nicolina Esposito and Carmela DeCicco.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday January 12, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Saturday, relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at 11:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
