Violet Dziamba, age 94, of Shelton entered into rest on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at CT Hospice in Branford. She was the devoted wife of the late Michael Dziamba.
Violet was born in Shelton on April 21, 1918, daughter of the late Philip and Virginia (Scarpa) DeMarco, and she was a lifelong resident of Shelton.
She was a wonderful homemaker and devoted to her family. She also worked as a secretary for the Shelton Superintendent of Schools until retiring in 1992. Violet was an avid birdwatcher and loved animals.
She is the beloved mother of Virginia Wasilewski, Norine Nedavaska, Dorothy Dziamba, and Grace Barna. She also leaves seven cherished grandchildren, Sherri Levesque, Frank Nedavaska III, Jason Nedavaska, Kelly Stebbins, Evan Barna, Kyle Barna, and Victoria Barna, five great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Philip and Albert DeMarco, and two sisters, Virginia LaVoie and Angeline “Babe” Peters.
