Vira Andrews, age 88, wife of the late Henry Andrews and resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest May 28, 2013.
She was born Feb. 9, 1925 in Midland County, Alabama, daughter of the late Charlie & Estella Edwards Dozier.
Vira was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Ansonia.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Faye Lynette Andrews Goldson & her husband Bruce of Ansonia, her sister Gussie Dozier of Orlando, Fl., her daughter in law Celia Brown Andrews of Atlanta, GA., six grandchildren, James, Chasity, Sparkle, Kiah, Bruce III & Vira and five great grandchildren & a host of nieces, nephews & cousins.
Memorial services will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church of Ansonia on Friday, (May 31) at 10:00 a.m. She will be going home for funeral services in Alabama, and burial in the family plot in Memorial Hill Cemetery in Dothan Alabama.
