Wanda Brodacki

Wanda Brodacki, age 68, of Beacon Falls entered into rest on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Griffin Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late John R. Brodacki, Jr.

Wanda was born in Bridgeport on January 19, 1954 daughter of the late Pasquale and Eleanor (Ervin) Scinto and was an Oxford resident for most of her life. Wanda was a member of the Oxford Senior Center and enjoyed playing Bocci every Wednesday morning with members of her community. She enjoyed scrapbooking and event planning. She was known for her cooking and baking. Some of her favorites were her lasagna, pepperoni bread and peanut butter balls. She enjoyed an exciting conversation over a cup of tea with whomever she was with. Wanda was known throughout her whole family for her amazing Christmas parties that she held yearly. She loved decorating and celebrating all of the holidays and especially loved watching her family reaction to her decorations. Wanda dedicated the last 25 years to being the matriarch of the family and gave everything she had to them. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She was happiest when she spoiled them with presents and was able to play with them. Wanda is now with her husband in heaven, where she wanted to be all along.

Wanda was the beloved mother of Crystele Cataldi, John Brodacki, III and his wife Stephanie, Matthew Brodacki and his wife Mandy and Joseph Brodacki and his wife Danielle, loving nana of Andrew Cataldi, Christopher Cataldi, Madison Brodacki, Morgan Brodacki, Ryan Brodacki, John Brodacki, Emily Brodacki, Jordan Cornell, Julianna Brodacki and Joseph Brodacki, Jr. She was also survived by her siblings, Patrick, Patricia, Margaret, Linda, Joyce, Lisa and Crystele and several nieces and nephews.
