Wayne G. Beach, age 66, of Huntington entered into rest on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Connecticut Hospice with his loving family by his side.
He was the devoted husband of 41 years to Carol (Zygmant) Beach. Wayne was born in Derby on July 18, 1952, son of the late Eugene Walter and Susan Amelia (Walsh) Beach and was a lifelong Shelton resident.
He was a dedicated realtor from 1992 – 2016 and former director of the Greater Fairfield Board of Realtors and the Consolidated MLS.
Wayne enjoyed an active lifestyle, including volleyball, golf, skiing, and windsurfing. He also loved architectural and sports photography.
Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving daughter, Shannon Beach, a niece, two nephews, and a great niece.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton.
A service will follow at 6:30 at the parlor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
