William Capece, age 48, of Shelton entered into rest on Sunday, May 26, 2013 in his home.
William was born in Derby on February 6, 1965, son of the late Vincent Capece Sr and Helen (Canganelli) Capece, and he was a lifelong resident of Shelton.
William graduated from Shelton High School, Class of ‘84, and was a substitute teacher for the Derby Board of Education. He also volunteered at the Griffin Hospital, and attended the Living spring Prayer Group in Seymour. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church, and will be sadly missed by all his friends and family.
He leaves three brothers, Vincent J. Capece Jr. and his wife Beth, Thomas Capece and his wife Bridget, and Anthony Capece and his wife Renee, two sisters, Rosemary Capece and Elaine Garguilo and her husband Peter, and several nieces and nephews.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Church, 380 Long Hill Ave, Shelton on Friday at 10 :00 AM. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peters Cemetery.
