William J. Bukoski

William Bill” J. Bukoski, age 94, husband of the late Nancy Wakelee Bukoski and resident of Naugatuck, entered into eternal rest April 16 with his loving family by his side. 

He was born August 3, 1922 in Seymour, son of the late George and Frances Greiger Bukoski. 

Bill was a veteran of World War II, serving as an Army Airborne engineer attached to the Ninth Army Air Corp. 

He worked as a cable splicing technician for Kerite Co. in Seymour and was a parishioner of The Church of the Assumption in Ansonia. Bills greatest pleasures were spending time with his family & friends. Always being the first to say: let me know what I can do to help. That was Bill. 

He is survived by his son George Bukoski & wife Donna of Shelton, daughter Diane Carey & husband George of Naugatuck, brother Edward Bukoski of Seymour, sister Madlyn Napychank of Ansonia and grandchildren Jessie & Jaime Bukoski of Shelton. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by five sisters and seven brothers. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of the Assumption in Ansonia. Following Mass, military honors will be rendered and burial will be private. Friends may call Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia (www.jenkinskingfh.com) before the funeral leaves for church.
