William Scaife Sr., of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on February 2, 2012, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Mr. Scaife was born in Derby on May 18, 1954, beloved son of Rose Porcu Donofrio (Louis) of Ansonia and the late Dudley T. Scaife. He was employed as a salesman at Curved Glass in Derby until his illness.
In addition to his mother Rose, he is survived by a loving son, William Scaife Jr., a loving daughter, Candace Scaife, both of Ansonia, two brothers, John Scaife of Ansonia and David Donofrio of Southbury, a granddaughter, Natalie Wardle, of Ansonia, former wife, Patricia Sliby Scaife of Bristol, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Tony Scaife and Joe Donofrio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours and a celebration of Bill’s life on Saturday February 4, 2012, from 1 – 3 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Private burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bill’s children.
