Zofia H. Pracon, age 82, of Derby entered into rest on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was the devoted wife of the late Jozef Pracon. Zofia was born in Poland on May 15, 1940, daughter of the late Stanislaw and Agnes (Karas) Fabisiak. She was employed at Inline Plastic for many years.
Zofia was the beloved mother of Jan (Wtadystawa) Pracon, Tadeusz Pracon, Jozef (Elzbieta) Pracon, Leszek Pracon, Krzysztof Pracon, Zbigniew (Renata) Pracon and Bogdan Pracon, loving grandmother of Bernadeta, Jessica, Nicole, Dariusz, Renata, Kamil and Beata Pracon, great grandmother of Gabriel and Emily Strife and sister of Stanislaw Fabisiak, Maria Pustelny and Irena (Kazik) Holub. Zofia was predeceased by her children Michal, Stanislaw and Teresa Pracon.
On Friday, friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. On Saturday, her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 8:15 AM for her Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at St. Michael Church. Her burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
