Derby’s Tony Szewczyk Challenging Joe Crisco For State Senate Seat

Szewczyk

Tony Szewczyk, Derby Republican Town Committee Chairman, has been chosen to be the Republican candidate for State Senate in the 17th district.

He will be running against Democratic incumbent, Joe Crisco, in the Nov. 6 elections.

On Wednesday, Aug. 1, Tony was chosen to replace Chuck Pyne, of Woodbridge. Mr. Pyne was nominated at the Republican convention earlier this year but recently withdrew from the race.

Barbara Dybas, of Derby, will serve as Szewczyk’s treasurer.

Szewczyk says, I’m running because Connecticut’s policies aren’t working and Joe Crisco supports this failed legislation. Enough!”
