A notice posted on the City of Shelton’s website Tuesday afternoon said City Hall would be opening at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

SNOWSTORM ROAD UPDATE
3:00 PM ON FEBRUARY 12, 2013
99 percent of the roads have been opened.
Now working on widening roads and intersections and transporting snow to disposal sites.
Expect the road widening process to occur in stages over several days.
Crews and equipment continue to work around the clock.
Once roads are determined safe for bus travel we will focus our attention on school readiness.
Schools will be closed Wednesday, February 13, 2013.
We ask your continued help to shovel out fire hydrants and clear catch basins.
Garbage pickup is still suspended until further notice.
Transfer station will open mid-morning on Thursday, February 14, 2013.
