Adeline H. Brushitis, 90, of Derby, peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 6, 2012, at Griffin Hospital. She was the loving wife of Paul Brushitis.
Mrs. Brushitis was born in Derby on October 8, 1921, daughter of the late Paul and Antoinette Pettinella Senese. A lifelong resident of Derby, she was employed as an inspector at the former B.F. Goodrich in both Derby and Shelton. She was a devoted communicant of St. Mary Church in Derby where she was a member of the Ladies Guild and formerly served on the Festival Committee. Adeline was also a member of the Sons of Italy Valley Lodge in Derby, Derby Senior Center, and former member of the Paugassett Hose Ladies Auxiliary and former East Side Italian-American Club.
In addition to her husband Paul, she is survived by nephews, John Brushitis (Shirley) of Seymour and James Brushitis (Gail) of Oxford, a niece, Rita Marcheletta of Southbury, and many friends. She was predeceased by a brother, John E. Senese and a sister, Anna Senese.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday January 11, 2012, at 11:00 am at St. Mary Church in Derby for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt.
