ANSONIA — Police confirmed that a body was discovered in the woods in the area of Myrtle Avenue on Monday.
The matter is under investigation.
“We did find a male deceased in the woods between Myrtle Avenue, Clover Street and Judson Street yesterday afternoon,” Lt. Patrick Lynch said in an email. “We are in the process of identifying the male. Right now the incident is not suspicious and there is no danger to the public.”
Additional details were not available on Tuesday.
