The people of Shelton must be commended for believing in Mayor Mark Lauretti, by giving him a resounding victory in the city’s mayoral election in November, despite allegations, without any charges made, that he was implicated in a bribery and conspiracy connection, in the recent Botti court proceedings.
The Feds could not prove a bribery/conspiracy charge implicating Lauretti.
Lauretti is thinking about running for governor.
He has a proven, outstanding job performance as mayor, which no other present candidate for the governor’s office offers.
He has had a “bump in the road” in a quest to occupy the governor’s office, but he has plenty of time to overcome the lost momentum, with tremendous support he will receive from his faithful citizens of Shelton.
Give it a shot for governor, Mayor Mark Lauretti! The people in the Valley are behind you!
