The Ansonia Animal Hospital is housing 20 kittens and five adult cats found abandoned and are looking for people to adopt them.
The kittens and adult cats are now available for adoption and are being fed and cared for by Dr. T.C. Nanvati, who owns and operates the Ansonia Animal Hospital, 876 South Main St. Seymour.
The kittens are from 8 to 10 weeks old and are black, gray, tan and multi-colored.
Anyone wanting to adopt a kitten or adult cat, or for more information should call Dr. Nanavati at (203) 735-9915.
Dr. Nanavati also has an office in Oxford.

Dr Nanvati has provided a career of servitude to the animal health and control of the often stray domestic pets that we enjoy. The Hearts and Tails Organization often provides money, not covered by the city, to maintain the well-being of these animals. They too deserve special recognition for their financial and endearing support for the wellness of animals in the valley area.
Dr Nanvati deserves special recognition for the work he has done for the residents and animals “without a voice” in Ansonia. He has helped bring them back to a standard of living that is enjoyable, and has helped place many animals into caring homes.
It is strongly encouraged that those who can and are willing, dedicated, and interested…to step up and adopt some of these animals. This will certainly help Dr Nanvati in terms of case-load….but sometimes the animals never stop coming in, and sometimes no one takes them home….in that case…decisions have to be made.
