Dear Residents of Woodbridge, Orange and Derby:
Thank you for electing me to serve another term as your State Representative. It is an honor and a great responsibility to be entrusted with and I am glad to serve the residents of the 114th district.
The new legislative session begins on January 5, 2011 and most predict the talk of the Capitol will center around the state budget and the projected $3 billion deficit. While the budget and a handful of other hot button issues might grab headlines, much more will happen here at the Capitol.
As we head into the new year, here are some ways in which my office can be of service to you:
• Legislation: If you have an idea, need help testifying on a bill or assistance looking up and tracking particular legislation, please feel free to contact me.
• State Agencies: If you are having difficulties with or have questions about state agencies such as Veterans Affairs, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Public Health, Department of Motor Vehicles, or any others, please contact my office.
• Visiting the State Capitol: If you are visiting the State Capitol or Legislative Office Building, please stop in and say hello.
• Citations: If you would like to recognize an individual for a special event or accomplishment such as achieving Eagle Scout rank, Citizen of the Year, or a significant birthday my office can assist in requesting an official citation.
