ANSONIA — Children’s librarian Jen Shuart appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” June 18 to highlight the work of Traveling Toys, Inc., a group that teams with libraries to fund the purchase of toys to borrow.

Shuart and the organization’s founders, Diana Cary and Mary Midiuk, were featured during the talk show’s “Rad Humans” segment.

Co-founders Mary and Diana share how they’re easing the financial burdens of families across the state by giving kids and teens access to over 70,000 free toys in their local public libraries.
