OXFORD-SEYMOURThe following information was posted to state Sen. Eric Berthel’s Facebook page on Monday, July 14:

Starting today, the Connecticut Department of Transportation will begin important milling and resurfacing work along Route 34 in Oxford and Seymour, as part of the state’s pavement preservation program.

To minimize daytime disruptions, work will take place overnight, 8 PM—6 AM, Monday through Friday, through October 30th.

Please plan ahead, expect lane closures, and drive safely through work zones. These upgrades are necessary investments to keep our roads safe, reliable, and in good condition.
