Free Victorian Era Customs Talk At Seymour Public Library

SEYMOUR – Seymour Public Library will be hosting Christina Volpe, Curator of the Barnes Museum, as she gives a free, in -person presentation, Elegance & Etiquette: Social Customs of the Victorian Era at the Library on Tues., August 12, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. Registration is not required.

Step into the world of 19th-century refinement in this engaging presentation that explores the formalities, fashions, and social customs of the time. Attendees will hear stories, learn about Victorian teatime traditions, and be able to view some original Barnes family artifacts-including an authentic tea gown.
