John (Buddy) Andrechuk passed away July 24, 2025 at his home in Oxford. Buddy was born on November 7, 1957. He was a lifelong resident of Oxford and a graduate of Seymour High School.
He played bugle with the Explorer Drum and Bugle Corps alongside his father John and Uncle George Churma. He worked in the electronics field repairing hospital equipment. He cared for his father at home until his father’s passing last year.
Buddy is preceded in death by his parents Marion (Stickney) Andrechuk, and his father John Andrechuk. He will be laid to rest alongside his parents at Pine Grove Cemetary in Ansonia.
The services are pending. The family wishes to thank Buddy’s neighbor Andrew Konopka and CNA Iris Morales for the care and support they provided to Buddy and his parents. Contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
