The Valley Indy’s ‘Navel Gazing’ podcast, first launched in 2011, returned this week with some changes.
The livestream video podcast is now available exclusively to people who become members of The Valley Indy YouTube page.
There are two pricing tiers:
‘Local News Addicts’ can join for $2.99 a month
‘True Local Rag Supporters’ can join for $5.99 a month
In addition to supporting local news coverage, members get at least two members only livestreams per month, plus custom, Valley-related emojis, and access to archived Valley videos.
Viewers must have the ability to connect a form of payment to their Google accounts in order to become members.
The Valley Indy receives 70 percent of every dollar received through YouTube.
This week’s members only ‘Navel Gazing’ touched upon the mayor’s tire slashing in Ansonia, confusing charter revision motions in Seymour, flood anniversary ceremonies, and whether ‘Saturday Night Live’ is worth watching anymore.
