Hello Everyone!
Scouts has officially begun for the year. If you’re looking for something for your child to do that teaches them valuable skills, gets them outdoors, all while making friends and having fun, then scouts would be a great fit for your child. We are open to boys and girls.
Troop 13 Girls and Troop 11 Boys will be holding their first meeting of the year this Thursday August 28th from 7pm – 830pm at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Seymour. Both troops meet every Thursday at the Trinity Episcopal Church at 91 W Church St in Seymour. Boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 17 are welcome to come check us out regardless of what town you live in.
We go on monthly camping trips and practice skills every week. We encourage families to bring siblings, cousins, and friends. We also welcome adults to join and help out with leadership if possible. We help to raise and create resilient, responsible, and independent youth in our community through valuable lessons, skills, leadership, community service and engagement. We look forward to meeting all of you.
There is no deadline to registration. If at any point you’d like to check us out throughout the year, you are more than welcome to send us an email or stop by a meeting to see what we are all about.
