Sandra P. (Day) Fox, age 78 of Beacon Falls, beloved wife of the late Nelson H. Fox, entered peaceful rest on Saturday, August 30, 2025 in Griffin Hospital. Born in Waterbury on October 22, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Lucy (Lushinsky) Day.
A retired quality control inspector for R and R Manufacturing in Seymour, Sandra was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, UCONN Huskies, as well as NASCAR. She was very active, enjoying crocheting, cross stitching, and could be found bowling with her friends at the former Valley Bowl in Ansonia. Sandra loved her family above all else and spending time with her children was most important to her.
Survivors include her loving children, Harold J. Woodfield, III and his wife Pam of Wolcott, and Denise M. Fonseca and her husband John of Naugatuck; several nieces, nephews and step-children, as well as her beloved “grand kids”, Quincy and Spooky.
Committal services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 1pm DIRECTLY in Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Rd., Waterbury, CT 06705. The Ralph E.
