SEYMOUR — The Friends of the Seymour Public Library have received many new donations so it’s book sale time!

Sale will be held Saturday, September 27th from 9:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. The first hour and a half, from 9:30 to 11:00 is for Seymour Library Friends members only.

Public admission is from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

If you are not a member of Seymour Library Friends and would like to join, you can come to the members only time slot and sign up right then as a member.

Membership fee is $10.00 for the general public, $25.00 for a family and $5.00 for students and seniors 65 years or older.

Our Children’s section has a wealth of books with prices as low as $0.10 each.

Teachers receive a 10% discount on their book purchases.

The Young Adult section is at capacity with both fiction and non-fiction and our Adult section has a large selection of romance, mystery and science fiction all available in both hardcover and paperback.

We also have a large section of history, autobiography, cook books, religious, sports, poetry and classics as well as other nonfiction. DVDs and CDs are for sale at just of $0.10 each and all jigsaw puzzles are $2.00 each and we have games for sale as well.

Donations for the Friends of Seymour library can be dropped off at the library anytime during regular library hours. We thank you for your donations!

Fire regulations have impacted our sales so we will no longer be permitting scanner use at any time. All the money raised from the book sales is used for the library. We look forward to seeing you at the sale!
