Michael James O’Shea, age 57, of Shelton entered into rest on Saturday September 27, 2025 at Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Hartford, CT on July 29, 1968, beloved son of Frances Riley O’Shea and the late James P. O’Shea, and was a resident of Shelton, CT for most of his life. He was a sports enthusiast and an avid Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Michael also enjoyed watching basketball and was a fan of NASCAR. Michael was a Friend of Bill for 27 years.
Michael will be deeply missed by his mother Frances O’Shea, two sisters Lisa Mortensen and her husband Michael and Colleen O’Shea Burout, nieces and nephews Edward Forster and his wife Lynna, Jason Forster, Casey Forster, Amanda O’Shea, Mathew Burout, Andrew Burout and Christopher Burout, Jr. He also leaves behind his cherished great nieces and nephews Devon Forster, Kylie Forster and Lily Forster, Tristen Wright, Jameson Wright, Willow Wright and Layla Burout and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Friends and family are invited to greet the family on Friday October 10, 2025 from 4 to 7 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. His funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday October 11, 2025 at 10:00 am. His burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
