Kimberly “Kimmie” Posack, age 60, of Hamden, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. She was the devoted wife of 32 years of Michael Posack. Kimmie was born in Derby on November 3, 1964, daughter of the late Harry and Beverly (Earl) Kershaw, was raised in Shelton, and lived in Hamden for many years.
She was a devoted administrative assistant before her health hampered her ability to work. Kimmie was a devoted pet owner, and loved her dogs as they were her kids, Brandy, Samantha, Amber, Lucy, Maya, Madison, Ellie and Max.
She is also survived by her father-in-law, Peter Posack, with whom she shared a close father-daughter relationship. Kimmie had several dear friends, and loved and missed those sisters. She was predeceased by her grandparents.
Friends are invited to greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Thursday, October 9, from 10 AM to 11 AM. Her funeral service will begin in the parlor at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shelton.
