Judith N. (Nardi) LaRocca, age 93, a resident of Derby for fifty years, entered eternal rest on October 13, 2025, at Ocean Meadow Senior Living in Clinton. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack P. LaRocca Sr.

Born in New Bedford, MA on June 28, 1932, she was the daughter of the late George and Susie Valeria Nardi. Judith was a graduate of Seymour High School and went on to attend St. Raphael School of Nursing to receive her Registered Nurse degree. She was employed as a surgical operating room nurse at St. Raphael Hospital in New Haven for many years. Following her nursing career, Judith worked as the office manager for the former Kobe Appliance in West Haven for thirty years, until her retirement in 1994. A devout Catholic, Judith was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church and a member of its Ladies Guild, Bocce League and volunteered at their annual Italian Festa. She was a member of both the Ansonia and Derby senior centers and enjoyed being a Cub Scout Den Mother in Derby. Her favorite hobbies were traveling and bowling. Judith was an avid fan of UCONN women’s basketball and the New York Giants.

Judith leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Jack LaRocca Jr. (Rebecca Peperni) of Old Lyme, David LaRocca (Lucy) of Madison and Peter LaRocca (Judy) of Concord, MA, grandchildren, Michael LaRocca (Allison), Nicholas LaRocca, Karen LaRocca, Amy Fuller (Andrew), Ava LaRocca and Mia LaRocca, great-grandchildren, Mason, Camden, Carlin, and Quinn LaRocca along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, George Nardi and her sister, Susan Yazluk.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Saturday morning, October 18, 2025, from 8:30-9:30 am in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Her funeral will then proceed to Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby.
