SEYMOUR — A 19-year-old Naugatuck resident was arrested on gun and drug charges on Colony Road Nov. 12.
According to a statement posted to social media, police were looking for a wanted person at about 11:20 p.m. They found the wanted person, 18-year-old Jaden Joham, of Seymour, with Keith Donnell Alexander, 19, of Naugatuck.
Police searched Alexander’s rental vehicle and allegedly uncovered a loaded handgun, an extended ammunition magazine, a digital scale, MDMA pills, and marijuana.

Alexander was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, possession of alcohol by a minor, illegal possession of a large capacity magazine, carrying a dangerous weapon, violating a protective order, sale of more than 18 grams of mrijuana, and possession of a controlled substance.
He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Derby on Nov. 13.
Joham, who police said was wanted on several warrants, was charged in connection to two police investigations. The charges lodged were: two counts of interfering with officers, improper use of plates, operating without a driver’s license, illegal sale or purchase of a large capacity magazine, carrying a dangerous weapon, carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal alteration of a firearm identification, and two counts of failing to appear for court.
He was arraigned in Superior Court in Derby on Nov. 13.
