Dale F. Sirko, age 66, entered eternal rest on November 30, 2025, at the West Haven VA Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Jeanne (VanHarten) Sirko.
Born in Derby on August 2, 1959, he was the son of Kathleen (Loftus) Emmerson of Milford and the late Thomas Sirko. He was a graduate of Milford High School, class of 1977. Dale was employed as the assistant manager for Naples Bay Yacht Storage in Naples, Florida. A proud veteran, he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Dale enjoyed the outdoors and found great joy in camping and fishing. He loved watching football especially cheering on his favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
In addition to his mother Kathleen, Dale leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Kelly Miska (Matt) of Chicago, IL, brothers, William Sirko (Juanita) of Madison and David Sirko of Naples, FL, sisters, Kimberly Hallas of Nashville, TN and Kathleen Sirko (Dave Walker) of Milford, grandchildren, Naya Miska and Amaya Miska of Chicago IL, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his step-father, Robert D. Emmerson.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Friday December 5, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 5:00 pm, members of the family will be offering prayers in memory of Dale followed by United States Air Force military honors at 5:30pm. Burial will be private.
