Patricia Bucki, age 81, of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton. Patricia was born in Bridgeport on August 20, 1944, daughter of the late Stella (Salik) Nemergut, and lived most of her life in Stratford before moving to Shelton 3 years ago.
Patricia enjoyed bingo, church fairs, watching the Hallmark channel, and thrift store shopping. She also enjoyed reading the newspaper and keeping up-to-date on current events. On Sunday mornings, she enjoyed going to her daughters homes for coffee-and. Most of all she was devoted to her two daughters.
She is the beloved mother of Sharon Fitzpatrick and her husband James (Jay) of Ansonia, and Suzanne Dalfino and her husband James of Shelton. She is also survived by her brother, Gene Nemergut, her former spouse, Peter Bucki, and her two grand-kitties, Buddy and Butchie. Patricia was predeceased by a brother, Frank Nemergut.
Patricia’s family extends their most appreciation to those at Bishop Wicke, Butler Rescue Hands, and Wesley Heights who treated her with such care and compassion.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements, which are private.
